January 6th-10th, 2025
Nightly Prayer: 7:00pm

Worship Encounter:  Sunday, January 11th at 10:30am
The beginning of each year is a special time where we concercrate our hearts before the Lord.
It's a wonderful opportunity to grow  closer to God and come in one accord in  prayer and fasting.

May God Bless you this New Year and during your journey of prayer, fasting, increased faith, healing, deliverance and victory.
Below  are a few  scripture verses you can meditate on.
Also - Check out the "Why You Should Fast".

WEEK   OF  PRAYER   AND  FASTING
Monday - Growth  and Multiplication
  • Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)   “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
  • Psalm 92:12-14  "The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green."
  • Genesis 1:28 (KJV 1900)  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Prayer Emphasis: Growth was one of man's first conversations with God. "Multiply" pray for rapid expansion.
Tuesday - Growth Reflects God’s Design for Us
  • Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  "Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”
  • Genesis 1:28 (KJV 1900)
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
  • ‭‭Prayer Emphasis: God created us to grow spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.
Wednesday - Growth is a Mark of Maturity
Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Give us this day our daily bread.
  • Hebrews 6:1–3 (NLT)   So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.  And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

Prayer Emphasis : Move beyond the elementary teachings of Christ and toward maturity. Growth enables us to make wise decisions, serve effectively, and navigate the challenges of life with faith and courage. Example: The Apostle Paul corrected the Corinthian church for remaining spiritually immature (1 Corinthians 3:1-3). Let us not be stuck in spiritual infancy.  *Commit to seeking deeper knowledge of God through His Word and prayer.*
Thursday - Growth Equips Us for Kingdom Work
  • Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬) "For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever."
  • Ephesians 4:11–13 (NLT) Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Prayer Emphasis: Spiritual growth prepares us to fulfill the mission God has given us.

Friday - Growth Guards Against Deception
  • Matthew 6:13 (NKJV)  And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
  • Ephesians 4:14–16 (NLT)14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Prayer Emphasis:  Spiritual growth protects us from falling prey to false teachings and worldly influences.  God is Powerful and Glorious! His Kingdom is established Forever!

Practical Steps Toward Growth
  • Study God’s Word: Growth begins with knowing God through His Word (Psalm 1:2-3)
  • Pray Consistently: Prayer aligns our hearts with God’s will (Colossians 4:2)
  • Worship : Allows us to see the goodness of God. With a heart of thanksgiving we bless and give Him praise. (Psalm 100)
  • Stay Connected: Fellowship with other believers sharpens and encourages growth (Proverbs 27:17)
  • Serve Others: Putting faith into action fosters growth (Galatians 5:13)
  • Embrace Challenges: Trials and tests often promote deeper trust and dependence on God (James 1:2-4)
